Before You Take Your Vo2 Test

Before you take your Vo2max test which is coming in the next section, I do want to make a strong encouragement.

Look at the following pdf form. Fill it out honestly and follow the guidelines to determine whether you are fit to even begin exercising let alone take a fitness test or if you should see a physician before doing so.

I want to particularly stress the importance of this for those:

  • who are just starting to exercise
  • men over the age of 40, or
  • women over the age of 50.

All of these factors lead to a greater level of risk so play it safe and make sure you are ready for the fitness test by filling out the PAR-Q+ form below.
